The South West Ophthalmic Nurses Society

We have members from all over the South West ranging from Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Wales and Gloucestershire.

Once a year, we hold an educational meeting and AGM after the Early May Bank Holiday. Any nurse, member or not, is welcome to attend. You don't have to work within an Ophthalmology department - just have an interest in Ophthalmology.

Over the years we have had interesting and varied meetings covering all sorts of topics, such as:

Glaucoma

The role of Consultant Nurses

Red Eye

Nurse Triage

Guide dogs for the blind
